What is a JW201-JW202 Chinese Student Visa Form
Just what is a JW201 or JW202 form anyway? Do I need it get my Chinese Student Visa (X Visa)? I didn't know where to start when I was applying to study abroad in China earlier this month.
The JW201 / JW202 is a form generated by a Chinese university upon admission acceptance. Upon application to study broad at a Chinese school, you'll have to fill out an application form and submit two passport-sized photographs. Once you're accepted, your Chinese university will send you (probably via global EMS or airmail) a document packet containing:
1 Original JW201 or JW202 Form
1 Letter of Acceptance from your Chinese School
And probably some other stuff in there as well.
The JW201 / JW202 is the form you'll need to take to your nearest Chinese consulate or embassy to apply for your Chinese student Visa (X-Visa).
You can't download a JW201 / JW202, since the school has to fill it out in Chinese, stamp it (nothing is official in China without being stamped) and sign it themselves. Therefore, if you haven't received your JW201 or JW202 form yet from your school and your departure date is approaching, you'll probably want to get them on the horn and find out what you have to do to finish processing your Chinese student Visa.

hi, i need some information. i am a student here in Pakistan in Pakistan. i got an invitation letter from an institute of china as an exchange student not as a registered one. i am registered in Pakistan but they said i need the JW201 form. my supervisor in china don't know from where to get the form and the university is not allowed to give the required form so what to do now.

where should i get JW202 form for school at china
Hi,
I am malaysian and plan to study make up at Shanghai,China for six months.
understand that i need to submit the JW202 form together with the invitation letter from the make up college to china embassy station in malaysia for student visa approval.
But now my problem is i and my college didnt know where shall i obtain the original JW202 form for the make up college to fill in and do stamping by china ministry education.
Please share with me if you know where i could get the form.

Hi Mane, actually the school couldn't get the form for us as the school are like acedemy school, the form are only provided for the students who study in university. You can apply a Business Visa, 180 days, 1 entry. Hope it helps. :)
Study in china

i will study chinese in dalian but just for one month, and after i will turn back to Turkey.So,i should get student visa.i just want to learn that this visa procedure is same for me???
